No, please don't change the URL in the Manager. You will get messages that you should switch back to einstein.phys.uwm.edu as this is still the valid Project URL. The URL einsteinathome.org is currently the one to use in your Browser (bookmarks) only. We sure want to also switch the Project URL to the new one but there are technical problems that hinder us to do so.
Oops! Sorry for the confusion. As Christian said: don't change your project URL. For the E@H Web site, please only use einsteinathome.org.

I thought not... It just doesn't hurt to ask. Thanks!
When I attempt to login to my account, it always fails. So then I hit the "forgot password" button and then I'm logged in (without going to my email). That seems like a "security risk".
You may running into (known) problem where you are logging into the site using the URL einstein.phys.uwm.edu. Please try to use einsteinathome.org, and update your bookmarks, etc to reflect the new URL.
Here's another clue ... along the lines of a problem with this account .. I noticed that the Cross-project ID for this account (i.e. email address) doesn't match the Cross-project ID on the other BOINC projects that I'm running on this email address. (I noticed that I can't seem to attach Einstein my BOINC Stats list of projects... it reports "incorrect password") Does this observation help route this out?
I noticed that the Cross-project ID for this account (i.e. email address) doesn't match the Cross-project ID on the other BOINC projects that I'm running on this email address.
Someone posting on another thread regarding differing project lists stated that the way to get projects to give you the same cross-project ID is to have at least one computer that is enrolled in each. Apparently if that condition is met, then using the same email address is sufficient, but apparently there is not a backbone communication cross-project channel that gets the association made without this form of your assistance.
As was the case with the OP on that other thread, BoincStats has two entries for your user ID, one for Einstein work, and one for four other projects. So the solution is in your hands, and the problem is normal BOINC behavior, not an Einstein web site problem, I think.

Thanks. I'll watch for that. BOINCstats is just a side issue to my password problem & getting logged into the website... and my "backdoor" method of logging in via "password reset".
As for BOINCstats ... I only have one machine.. and only Einstein has a different Cross-project ID. It's possible that the Einstein account was created second to SETI, while SETI was down.. but I'm not sure about that.

If you are going to einsteinathome.org, then what you are describing is strange behavior. What OS/browser are you using to login? Did you try different browsers? Private/Incognito mode on your browser? Did you try clearing your cookies?
Some more details would help in narrowing down what's happening.

Yeah... Primarily on a Windows 10 machine with Internet Explorer and Firefox. (at this point I'm trying it on a Banana Pi with the default web browser "Web 3.8.2"... same result without the extra weirdness where just the act of requesting a password reset on the email address goes into the account profile screen that I see once in a while on the Windows browser,
Usual behavior:
1. go into einsteinathome.org
2. hit the login button
3. enter the email address and password
4. password is rejected.
5. hit the "forgot password" button
6. enter the email address and execute it.
7. go into gmail's email tool to get the email response from einstein.
8. either enter the provided URL link in the email or copy it to another browser (I usually use Firefox to access email... old habbit! ..so either I run it on Firefox directly, or copy the link to a tab on Internet Explorer)
9. on the "change password" screen, where my email address is populated, I enter the new password. (I enter the same password that I've been using since <<Gulp! Choke! Gag!>> September 1999 (yeah, OK, that was the original SETI@Home project... LOL) .. Modern password strength rules complain, but it all works on my other accounts without complaint.
10. hit "save"
11. Enter the account. (it's accessible at this point.)
The "weirdness" happens sometime at the "execute" of step 6, where the account tab is available and a login attempt with password has not been made... yep.. possible that I was really logged in already and it just decided to go ahead and grant me access. (which explains why the Banana Pi/Raspbian browser didn't take the "short cut")

Hm, I can't reproduce that. As long as I'm properly locked before I start the password reset I don't get into my account unless I'm using the reset link (one-time-login) or login as usual again. Could it be that you visited our site by different URLs like others before? There might have been a cookie floating around the kept you logged in...
but this system of distribution of Boinc much equipment is not operational ago
This is not a Drupal-related issue. Your team is affected by a data mismatch between the central BOINC team database and our DB. We'll look into that.

so I think you should enable the option to edit information on the teams as we have on the website of Albert @ Home.
As Shawn already pointed out: BOINC-wide teams are not meant to be modified at any given project. They have to be modified at BOINC (upstream) as the synchronization is only one-way (downstream).
tl;dr: BOINC-wide are supported and working. So far, any sync/update issues are BOINC-related and affect individual teams only.
