Never on more than my one

Never on more than my one home computer at a time, a long attention span and persistence has it's benefits as well as a roomfull of junk machines. ;)

The new i7 should keep me in the running. (although frankly I stopped worrying about my 'score' years ago)

This is pretty paltry, but I just hit 5M, and plan on cranking until I can't see to install video cards, and after (I'll get the son to install new ones).

One thing this does is it

One thing this does is it makes you watch for the best deals on the best video cards for these GPU tasks.

Works best for us guys that haven't played a video game since Pong

(yeah Mikey I still remember the early years only running those CPU tasks and it took a long time to get the first 10 million)

I think my first million took longer than the next 10 million. It took *forever* to get a million and mine weren't strictly CPU work, either.

Now look at us! A million hardly seems worth the effort (he says sardonically).

Tell that to my electric bill now!! Yes the first million took like what seemed to be forever, now I can do a million in just a few days, less if I bring more gpu's over. I now tend to do cpu tasks at projects that can not use a gpu, and then not use the cpu's at projects like Einstein that can use a gpu.
