1.Too complicated to set up compared to other distributed computing programs.

2.Couldn't do it anyway, invalid key supplied by Einstein@home page after creating an account.

3.Too much a waste of time to bother with, remember, I'm volunteering my time to YOU.

I've used Folding@home, Seti@home, and the cancer one that Intel was providing. All were easy. This is a pain in the ASS.

Frustrations...

Dex2177; You havn't told us what your problem is. I have over a dozen rigs humping this project. How is it complicated? You don't get your project key from the homepage, you get it via email. When you download the client, you have to attach to the project. If you don't have appropriate settings for your preferences,(some of your existing ones may conflict) please be kind enough to trim your rig and accept being an "E Cruncher". Some of my rigs are on probation because I have updated a cpu or motherboard recently, but I give Bruce and the server slaves, a serious 5 stars for server support and work availability. You might consider a clean install. We can't help a rig with cancer. If you are running a Compuqe, Dull, Gateless, or Hewlett Hopless, your rant is understood. You need to tell us what your setup problem is, not the fact that your rig can't hack it. Join Please.

LoL.

Tweakster, although I do know where you are coming from, I was wondering if you might find it within your power to offer advice on the forum without managing to insult everyone who chooses to run a name brand computer. My lowly little HP may be rather insignificant in your mind, but then again it isn't erroring out so much that I've been put on 'probation' either. :)

Digger; You do not have a "lowly". The fact that you have stood up and said I can contribute is good enough for me. Crunching hard means you may have a rig you can push. Finding that sweet spot has a penalty sometimes, but finding it is all the fun. Building your own rig takes you out of the "I got a box from Worst Buy" and into "kick as__ computing. Thanks for your attention. Learn to build, live to OC.
