Answer if you're complaining about the tasks their estimated times to completion: The times are estimates, the project cannot send out work with an exact time to completion, as your hardware differs from the hardware of the other computer doing the work. So it's sent out with an estimated time of completion, which will increase or decrease as your BOINC client learns how long work actually takes on your computer.

Once you're completed a task the DCF (Duration Correction Factor) will adjust and change the initial Remaining (Estimated ) time to a figure closer to reality,
