As we had to cancel a number of BRP4 workunits recently due to bad data (resulting in successive validate errors), we enabled the Project Option . This means that on scheduler contact (newer) Clients will get sent a message to abort tasks that the server knows they won't get credit for.
According to the documentation this will significantly increase the database load, but we are pretty confident that our current DB server can handle it. We'll see.

Hm, too bad - the DB could easily handle the load, but this option slows down the scheduler so much that we have >200 running at a time and the project server becomes unresponsive.
Reverted for now.
