Yes, please take a look now.

Yes, please take a look now. I have switched back to 7.0.27 and also included the cc_config.xml

@Gaurav: What does the Client

@Gaurav: What does the Client say about the GPU (in stdoutdae.txt or in the event log of the manager)? Does it say somehting about OpenCL caabiities?

Is the host attached to Albert, too? If so, what is its hostid (possibly send PM)?

So what does the BOINC client

So what does the BOINC client event log report (see messages tagged with "coproc")? Run boinccmd --get_messages to query the client. The interesting lines should right at the top after you restart the client.

Oliver, Installed 12.4a

Oliver,

Installed 12.4a without requiring mod, recognized as Mobility 5800 series.

Upon WU startup encountered driver restarts at ~0.038%.
GPU-Z 0.6.2 shows a quick uptick of dedicated memory usage then flat-lined (even though the WU ran for another 10secs before suspension).

Updating to latest driver doesn't work.
Any other ideas?

EDIT: POEM++ OpenCL WUs are now running ~15mins faster! :)

EDIT2: Scratch that - it's ~29mins (!!!) faster.

This looks good. The issue is really with BOINC that it refuses to report that I have an OpenCL supported device/driver.

Yep, that's the (32Bit) App.

It looks like the Client doesn't find the (64Bit) libs.

Could you try the 32Bit version of the Client?

The BOINC server is currently

The BOINC server is currently down and will be for a while.

Here is our local copy of BOINC 7.0.28 for Windows, built by Rom today:

* boinc_7.0.28_windows_x86_64.exe
* boinc_7.0.28_windows_intelx86.exe

May I add some news to reinforce that:

Quote:
It is a short at a substation causing a power outage to the hill area where the Space Sciences lab is located. Traffic signals are out on the hill, all the homes in that area have no power.

That means that the whole of BOINC and SETI will be offline until power has been restored and the lab equipment (including servers) has been checked over.
