I have ver 4.19 running. E@H works fine, but the screensaver will go blank after several mins. My E@H screensaver is NOT setup to go blank after "x" mins i.e my "go to blank screen" box is not checked in the screensaver setup menu. Does anyone else experience this?

Screen saver goes blank

I've got the same problem as you.
But for me it is a bit more complicated.
I'm from Holland and this website is written in English.
So it is pretty hard for me to understand.
And they also said that you can control the screensaver.
You could zoom in and out and rotate it. Well not over here.
I don;t know what i'm doing wrong. But your not the only one with the screensaver problem ;)

Zooming in and out and rotating is only possible in the graphics, not the screensaver.
In order to do it, choose "show graphics" by right clicking on a WU or select a WU and use show graphics in the left blue pane (depending on the version of Boinc).
One you have the graphics you can use the left mouse button, press and hold it and you can rotate the graphics. Use the right mouse button, press and hold, when moving the mouse back or forward you can zoom in or out.

Go to the screensaver setup. At the bottom right you will find a button named "Power" ("Energie" in Dutch). Click on that button and you will be able to setup the power saver function for the monitor.
My guess is the monitor is setup to go in save mode after several minutes.

Folks, I hate to interrupt

Folks,

I hate to interrupt real work for entertainment, but my screen-saver doesn't work. Here are the symptoms: When I run the preview or have it set as my screen saver, I get the splash/loading screen, then the monitor goes blank. Another clue, in the BOINC manager when I highlight a workunit, then click on "show graphic" nothing happens.

BOINC Ver 4.25
Windows XP
HP Pavilion zd8000
Default Browser: Firefox

Thanks!!

Just 1 question. Do you have an ATI graphics card?

There seems to be a problem with ATI graphics starting with CC ver. 4.25

I am having the same problem,

I am having the same problem, but I have a laptop, not an ATI graphics card, and there's not special graphics chip controlling the display so I don't know if it can be 'chalked' up to that in this case. Any ideas? It's a Toshiba Satellite.

Mine is a laptop too, with a laptop version of the ATI card. Check your System - Hardware - Device Manager and see what the brand is of the video card.

Hm, the people experiencing

Hm, the people experiencing problems with graphics on ATI chips (actually drivers) might want to try the Windows Beta App.
