This evening I have just noticed reams of the following on 1 of my machines:

10/11/2010 14:36:12 Einstein@Home Task p2030_53758_14036_0125_G204.96+02.51.N_4.dm_170_1 exited with zero status but no 'finished' file
10/11/2010 14:36:12 Einstein@Home If this happens repeatedly you may need to reset the project.

Obviously I cannot reset the project while I am away at work. What the hell has happened?!?!?! Will I now get no credit for a 10-day chace full of units?!!!?!?

Hi Dave,

first guess: virus scan. Try exclude BOINC directories.

Michael

Ive seen that happen once or twice to me when something 'bad' happens in windows. Usually a BSOD or phantom reboot, or in one case, popping a circuit breaker on the ups panel :x

A restart generally gets stuff running again and sorted out.

If god meant for us not to BOINC he'd have made our #$%^%^ shorter!!

Apparently you are just going thru a bunch of bad units.
