I got two 3.06 tasks today

I got two 3.06 tasks today (156490281 and 156490158). They were both successful. Any more information needed? Did you even need this information, or just timely completions?

In the opening message of this thread, I referred to this message from Bernd (a Developer) which was posted by Mike Hewson in the ABP2 sticky thread.

What Bernd was informing us about was the flaw in the initial release of the ABP2 app (Version X.02/X.03) which was causing validation problems. The initial release of tasks were 'branded' as version X.02/X.03 where X was 1, 3, 5 for Linux, Windows, Mac respectively. When the flaw was identified, it was desirable to get rid of as many as possible of the X.02/X.03 tasks before the fixed version of the ABP2 app was released (version X.06/X.07). If they weren't cleaned up quickly, and if both X.02/X.03 and X.06/X.07 apps got involved in crunching the copies of the same task, there would be 100% validation failure.

The purpose of my initial message was to ask people to identify and crunch preferentially, any X.02/X.03 branded tasks they happened to receive. This message was posted before any X.06/X.07 apps were released and as it turned out, the action of Bruce Allen in upping the initial replication of these tasks from the normal 2, ultimately to 5, combined with the action of crunching them preferentially and returning them quickly, did have the desired effect of removing them before they could cause any further problems.

As this is all pretty much finished with now and as this action only referred to X.02/X.03 branded tasks, it's time for this thread to be 'de-stickied' so it can drop out of sight.

Cheers,
Gary.
