My Boinc software gives this error when trying to update, what do I need to do to correct this?

I have had to upgrade an old computer to replace a dead one, so this computer has not been used for a while.

If that's one of the Windows XP machines, I'd grab all the current security updates from Windows Update quickly, before support ends next month. That might fix it.

Are all your xp machines

Are all your xp machines affected or just this one?

Try updating to the latest boinc client version, the one you are trying to use with that host is 2 or 3 years old and may be your problem...
