And I am not sure it can resign me up: that old account was under the old SETI prior to BOINC. I remember reading elsewhere that old seti accounts cannot be migrated to BOINC. So I am not sure I can rejoin anyway at least with the old account.

You remember wrong.

The Seti Classic accounts of everyone were migrated to BOINC/Seti. It's the amount of work-units and hours you used to do them that cannot be converted to BOINC credits. They show as a memento in your account over there. If you made a new BOINC account, you can use the link Gundolf gave you to show them on your new account.

I am using my Classic account on Seti (registration date somewhere June 1999) for BOINC.

Well, all of my other

Well, all of my other problems with CPID stuff melted away with the upgrade to Win 7 on that first host below. And since I have some time this holiday season, I thought I would upgrade my other host to the fabled Windows 7 Ultimate. When I did, however, a new problem has cropped up. I think I have a dual boot system: when I restart, I have to make the choice as to which operating system I want. I think I must have let windows pick the partition the first time I installed. At least it sounded like it was good, but apparently not. So, now I have two operating systems.

So, how do I get the new disk to clean install Windows 7? I assume I need to format the entire drive and then install from there. So, how do I do this? I have one of those student disks, so I am not sure if it is very much different or not from other brand new Windows 7 disks.

No need to respond to my last

No need to respond to my last post. I clean installed Windows 7 on that host.
