I once read that the CIA doesn't spy on certain countries, Australia being one of these. I think they should! Provided they then tell us what's going on, as we sure as heck don't .... :-)

[ Oh and don't mind our PM who, unlike most Aussies, can't take someone taking the p*** out of them. Please forgive us on account of him. The poor lad's having a bad year, what with having to face an election soon with some actual policies in place. Even the rednecks love Robin Williams! :-) ]

Cheers, Mike.

I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...

I have been following Andrew Skurka for almost a month on twitter, who is on a bit of a stroll. I can almost smell and taste the air :-)

A note in passing, today Anatoly Dobynin passed away today who probably saved the world.

People have to understand that the Russian people invented Gorbachev not the rest of the world.

What a twit - "Wouldn't it be nice if everyone was nice?". He'd fit right in with late 18th century France, and we all know how that turned out. The trouble is they have no contingency for when b*****ds turn up. It's not the structure of societies at issue, it's the beast lurking within us all alas ......

Cheers, Mike.

That's not what I got out of it.. I don't think he implied we should not build bigger and better sticks than the other b*****ds.. we just should be more mindful about the true energy and resources we put into it (or anything) :-)

I remember, sitting in class

I remember, sitting in class just watching the back of a professor with a text book. Universities start out basically as place for independent study.. Maybe they should return.

I keep exploring this issue because it scared my mom when I was young.; and I think it was also close to Albert's heart.
