One day I turned in 180+ (I had a backlog from the pre-Asok days).
It is very sad that I have to fake an instance just to keep turning in E@H results.
> I agree.....enough contortions for me. There has been NO communication about these problems from the Admins, NO recognition of Akos' efforts on their behalf and I'm very disappointed. With a suitable personal milestone on the horizon, (thanks to Akos!) I'm moving over to Rosetta.....at least the Admins there try to keep everyone in the loop and know how to communicate....the very best to all, Cheers, Rog.
CDNgeezer - in case you missed, there are some news on P's a J' WUs, S5 data set, problem o MDQ and current effort on Einstein posted by Ben Owen - http://einsteinathome.org/goto/comment/29370
It took longer to get the feedback than some wished, but it's there.
As I understand, stability of servers is on first place so no hihger MDQ ...yet.
Or - when high-performance machine don't get dry on MDQ limit, Einstein would get out of S4 series work before S5 is ready :-)

CDNgeezer, your contribution to Team Canada and E@H will be greatly missed. With 1/5 of the total credit for our team, your dedication to the project has been quite notable. Good luck over at Rosetta, and hope to see you back for S5.

There are 10^11 stars in the galaxy. That used to be a huge number. But it's only a hundred billion. It's less than the national deficit! We used to call them astronomical numbers. Now we should call them economical numbers. - Richard Feynman
CDNgeezer; I am sorely tempted to follow your lead. Last evening one of my rigs downloaded 34 of the one hour 15 minute WU's. My crunch time on each would be around 16 minutes. I was advised by the server that the next communication would be in 1 hour and 42 minutes. I have my cache set at 6 days and there is no way, based on my crunch times, that the server can keep me busy. The server only looks at the bulk of my uploads, not my crunch time. I just recently ordered an Opty 146 to upgrade one of my rigs, and now I am wondering why. Your counsel will be missed, I have enjoyed our brief association. Maybe we should team at Rosetta, call the team "Curse of 32". Thanks Bruce.
Good luck over at Rosetta, and hope to see you back for S5.

> Thanks, Dave.....sorry to let you guys down. I hope to be back with you for S5. I hope E@H has its problems?? sorted by then. My main beef here is the total lack of meaningful communication from the Admins.
Rosetta is involved in an international competition called CASP7 for the next 3 months and they need all the crunching power the can muster. Sooo..we will park there until S5 starts and the MDQ problem will, hopefully, be history. Cheers, Rog.

>Hi Tweakster....well, I know Rosetta would really appreciate your awesome computing capability.....even on a temporary basis until S5 starts. (see above re CASP7). The Admins there really do go out of their way to keep everyone 'in the loop' and make them feel appreciated. If you still have machines on standby because of this MDQ fiasco here, it may be worth a try. I like your team idea :) The best regards to you as well.....Cheers, Rog.
CDNgeezer; See you on the far side, The next Einstein box of mine that runs dry goes to Rosetta 100%. If Einstein can't afford to feed me, they don't deserve to keep me. All you dry rig runners are invited to join the "Curse of 32" ( as soon as I figure out how to set it up).
I have also moved my PC's to Rosetta. I seem to recall not too long ago the Admins of Einstein asking for more computers. Now they have a miracle in Akos and they do not seem to care.
