    We're rolling out some backend changes to the Technical News forum. The permissions have been turned off temporarily. Users will be able to view but not post new comments or create topics. The plan is to implement the changes tomorrow, with the expectation that users will be able to post new comments but not create forum topics.

    (To admins: I'l going to place this sticky until the site has been updated. It will be unstuck afterwards.)
