Hi, on a few QUAD's 6600 & QX9650, I run Einstein, but one (QX9650)runs WIN XP64 & BOINC 6.1.0 64BIT, also an SSSE3x optimized app. for SETI, in(too many) occasions this had lead to error's, I couldn't explain otherwise.
Changed R.A.M.; OC, now 3420MHz, DRAM=405MHz (OCZ6500).
Most error's occur when running another 32BIT app.
Considering the error message, it looks like VIDEO or DISK.
But I'll continue on my x86 hosts crunching EINSTEIN.

I have OC my Q6600 to 3330MHz and run the same optimized client as you without problem.

1. Have you done a stability test by running prime95?

2. Your CPU or system cooling might not be sufficient for your OC when running the optimized client.

Hi Jord, it's Crunch3rs version off BOINC, still run it on 1 off my Q6600's.
This one run WIN XP x86 and doesn't give any problems, only the XP64 host(QX9650@3555Mhz), keeps making error's, still don't think it's a good idea to run a mix off 32BIT and 64BIT, applications, changed the BOINC version a couple off times, now using BOINC 5.10.45 X64.
But is still making error's, so mow I'll defenitly quit running any 32BIT app. on it. The OC also has nothing to do with it, even @ 3GHz(stock) or less(2.6GHz) doesn't change anything.
The x86 host's have no trouble with this combination.
Nice to hear about the POWER APP, going to try that on the x86 Hosts.
Sorry for this rather late reply, did only have time for a quick peek @ the hosts, last weeks, due to health- & family problems, but that's gonna be OK, now.
