Paul was not advocating that people should be required to run more than one project, he was just stating that it is his opinion that they should and that the spirit behind BOINC was to spread the work out between projects.

Paul,

...and it's exactly what you said in your earlier post -- I'm sorry I over-interpreted you to mean "enforce."

Now I just need a sugar daddy to buy me enough machines to run everything I want to. :)

I'm sure you could have said

I'm sure you could have said it just as well or even better, Paul. You have a way with words. I really enjoy reading your posts because you refrain from making personal attacks. I really love the way you can make a point and then back it up with evidence and examples. You can really stick with the problem being addressed and not swayed to useless tangents. Many times after reading something you've written I've pondered my own style of writing, making sure that I maintain the same level of professionalism that you do.

Jim

Ken, One of my problems is

Ken,

One of my problems is that I can get overly precice with words though... but I never mean anything beyond exactly what I say. The autism thing again ... just so you don't feel bad, it can drive my wife crazy too ... :)

But, no harm no foul. I am just gald we can all work together.

Jim,

That is quite come complement. Came at a good time... having a REAL bad day ... as I have said before, if I have nothing good to say, I should say that .... nothing ... :)

I likewise enjoy your posts ...

all,

Actually, I enjoy everyones posts, as long as they stick to their opinion (we don't all have to agree) and the facts, as best we know them ...

I wish I too could afford more computers, but I think I am done for the year ... just keep the old one going when you get a new one ...

Run 4.45 or later, and attach to everything you want to. 4.45 should be able to sort it out. You won't be running everything at once, but you should be running something from somewhere all of the time.
