"This is the first report of a protein from any extraterrestrial source"
Now that's a quiet understatement. How fascinating. I think the import of this will not hit home, what with the current distractions of the day, until :
(a) it is believed as a physical finding ( probably by confirmation from another source ), and
(b) add in that carbon/oxygen/nitrogen/lithium/iron are all downhill from the nuclear physics of stars, and
(c) life is downhill to those elements, so
(d) this hemolithin ( plus others like it yet to be found ) might be the grand-parentbig-number of us all.
Hello, I've moved from primarily crunching SETI@Home and Rosetta@Home to now also adding Einstein@Home into the mix. My apologies if this question has already been asked, my search-fu has failed me in finding an answer.
While I see that work is getting done, and credits are being ticked up, the stats graph on the main page isn't working, none of the stats are making it to BoincStats or FreeDC, and Einstein@Home isn't showing up on the Rosetta@Home page as another project I'm participating in.
I've checked my cross-project ID, and it seems correct. Is there something else I need to do?

There may be other things you need to do, but two things I suggest are that you adjust your privacy settings to share your computer information among Einstein users, and to allow your information to be included in the XML files which export data from Einstein for use by Boincstats et. al.
Assuming you are logged in here at Einstein, just go to:
Account|Privacy
and change your answers to the second and third questions.
