IST network team will be replacing one of the network core routers, inr-202 in rec-sports CEV with new equipment, reccev-cev-cr1.
While the network will experience a loss of diversity, no service interruption is expected during the replacement due to the diverse nature of the network topology; traffic will continue to flow through the other core router.

I think that "other core router" may have gone on strike in sympathy... Thank goodness they didn't schedule this for yesterday.

I think the WOW event overloaded the boxes and they went up in flames. Other things hosted at the EWDC are reachable.
