You can set the limit disk usage in your Boinc prefferences (http://einstein.phys.uwm.edu/prefs.php?subset=global) in the second group of options, look for "Disk: use at most" and set it to the max you want to be used.
You can set the same locally, using the Boinc Manager, but as I never used Boinc 7.xx I dont know exactly where in the menu is this option located.
This settings about how much disk you allow to be used is for Boinc and this will limit the amount of disk used by all the projects, there is no way (AFAIK) to set a limit only for one project.
Now I can't get any job on all projects. Perhaps I have to wait a bit more.
5/22/2012 7:54:27 PM | Einstein@Home | Binary Radio Pulsar Search (Arecibo) needs 152.59MB more disk space. You currently have 0.00 MB available and it needs 152.59 MB.
I don't have any jobs now. I put the field back to 2 GB but it is not working.
Disk: use at most 2 GB
Disk: leave free at least
Values smaller than 0.001 are ignored 1 GB

As the disk usage is a general BOINC setting, all the projects you run will share that assigned space on disk.
And the disk usage by the projects also depends on the lenght you choose for your cache. If you have set it to 10 days of cache and you dont give enough space to allocate all the tasks you are going to crunch in the next 10 days, then all the usable space will be taken by the first project that ask for work.
So if you want to reduce the space used by BOINC, besides setting the max disk usage, you should also change the "Computer is connected to the Internet about every" (the minimun lenght of your cache) and the "Maintain enough work for an additional" (the adittional over the minimun) settings.
