Reason: project is down Mo 12 Feb 01:10:43 2007|Einstein@Home

Been getting the same error, Project is down for a couple of days now. Do we know when the project will be "up"?

This is starting to remind me of the bad old days of SETI@Home (the original version). The project operated only sporadically with little to no input from the powers that be...

Hopefully, we'll get past these problems here at Einstein and we'll get back to the very familiar smooth operation that we've all enjoyed.

It's easier to beg for forgiveness that it is to ask for permission...

I've been consistently

I've been consistently getting work, crunching it, and returning it. My issue is with the validation system. Currently I have 807.26 in credit pending since 9 Feb 2007 7:03:26 UTC.

Same boat here. Was at 1200 and now over 6000.

The real question seems to be DO THEY KNOW THERE'S A PROBLEM?

If not someone needs to tell them and if they ate aware of it to let us know what's going on and about when it can be resolved.

Someone appears to be doing something, as the Server Status page was taken down sometime this morning.

My pending credit has dropped a little today, from ~1050 to ~960. :-)

How could they not know, it's been going on for almost a week

Actually someone needs to tell us what we should be doing. I know there are going to be problems with something as complex as this, but it seems to me someone in authority would at least have the courtesy to let the unpaid help know whether we should continue crunching even though the work cannot be reported or just shut down until the problem is rectified.

Someone appears to be doing something, as the Server Status page was taken down sometime this morning.

While it was up, the status page showed 3 items in red having to do with the validation of the results. This would account for what jobs that are able to be uploaded cannot be credited. Er, I think.

Mine continues to rise, but
Did you check your totals?

Well, I would join the other long time 'unpaid help', who have posted in other threads, the advise of doing nothing, as the problem is at the server.

I am less concerned with the credits received, but with getting the work done.

I guess that my 36 years of involvement in medical research has endowed me with the patience to ride these glitches out. :-)

Seems to have been server

Seems to have been server problems for the last 3-4 days. I have units ready for report, but they won't upload. Plus i have another 5,000 points pending. I hope the problems are resolved soon.

Pending credits are like money in the bank but I'd like to see some of them get reported. I'm terribly close to 20000 credits pending with over 400 results to report.

One of my machines has been waiting to report for so long that two results have aged out.

Oh well... it's just like the old adage: They also serve who only stand and wait... and wait... and wait...
