    My 'due by' dates keep advancing, yet no downloads show in my logs. Checking my results via the website shows new work assigned.

      Sometimes no downloads are needed to get new workunit. Some workunits use the same input files (usually 3mb size), and you will need to download them only if you haven't got them. If you take a look more carefully, you will see that you upload result files, and sometimes download one or more input files.
