I do wonder if there is a greater load on the server with the short work units - that is the data base has the same workload per each work unit short or long.
I'm not on the Project Staff, so I don't know for sure, but the answer is probably yes and no.
It probably doesn't require any more resources for the server to process a long WU vs a short WU. But the more short WUs that go out, the more WUs will come in at a faster pace. So in that regard, it IS harder on the server to process short WUs.
