There seems to be no BRP4G

There seems to be no BRP4G tasks to send now.  Work generator isn't running either. i'm about to run out.  Sucks that the BRP6 tasks ended.

Too bleeding true:-/ All my rigs are GPU heavy and don't do as well with CPU work.. Right now my main rig is out of E@H tasks, but I'm crunching A@H & MW@H while I wait to find out if E@H is going to provide GPU work again

Darn irritating since I recently got 2x 2nd hand intel based rigs, 1 running xeon 4 core the other dual hex core.. they were crunching quite well, still have a few BRP4G tasks, but they will run out by tomorrow:-(

I guess it's fortunate that I

I guess it's fortunate that I run 3 GPU projects all the time.  Been needed lately with all projects having issues keeping my GPU's busy in the past couple of weeks.  It was MW last week that had issues, today it's Einstein. Sure makes it hard keeping the RAC's at the projects consistent. Unless somebody makes an unscheduled appearance in the lab today, we likely won't see any GPU tasks until tomorrow.

Where is Einstein based out

Where is Einstein based out of?

I thought they were in Europe.

If that is true, it's night time over there so it would be late tonight our time before someone goes in.

Partly out of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, but much more, I think, so far as active project administration goes, out of Hannover, Germany.

Unless someone does some Sunday work, I'd be surprised if any work flow resumes before the wee hours in continental USA time.  Later than that if has any complexity or requires Wisconsin participation.

For what (little) it is worth, I just did a tracert which for einsteinathome.org went to Milwaukee, but for scheduler.einsteinathome.org went to Hannover.

When I was configuring my AV

When I was configuring my AV program earlier in the year to allow downloads and not get flagged, I found out that tasks are delivered from six different servers spread throughout the world.

You are correct the project is party based at UWM in Wisconsin, USA. But most of the operations are at AEI at the Univ. of Hannover. The domain name einsteiathome.org points to a UWM server, because the Web site's front end is in the US.

Another thing is that a few people are currently on vacation (or were last week), so things should start ramping up again this week.

Hi Keith, Not too sure the

Hi Keith,

Not too sure the E@H stats page is all that accurate.

I know that the waiting validation table isn't it shows 4 wu waiting, I have had a dekko at my waiting validation page and guess what there are a good few more than 4 waiting.. That's for BRP4G WU...

And if that's wrong, what else is?

I believe those numbers are

I believe those numbers are the backlog, ie the waiting validation are WU where 2 tasks have been returned but the validator hasn't got around to check them yet, so should always be close to 0.

Summats up:-) I just got

Summats up:-) I just got [one] 1 BRP4G task, a resend at _6

Its sitting there right now waiting for _7 to complete it...

Who knows if it will even validate, given that 5 other folks couldn't get it to.

But whats really strange it that it just arrived, on its own and the stats page still shows no work available...

I assume there was a server glitch, since they are supposedly disabled and being the reunification holls I doubt anyone was at work today...
