Hello everyone. My name is Josh and I am new to this board. I've been running this project ever since I downloaded Bionic. I have to say I run SETI too, but I've been running SETI for 2 years now.
Well, I have a little problem. I have this mathematical model of the universe I created when I was 19. It links black holes to the beginning of our universe, but I don't know how to go about securing the idea as mine and publishing it. Of course it still needs alot of work, but I was wandering if one of you geniuses could point me in the right direction.
I am an engineering student in San Antonio. I was a physics major, but I guess I just don't fit the profile. Even though my aspirations do not lie in physics, I have many theories and new ideas related to the subject. I have not found anybody else with my same ideas, yet. I am learnig about computer programming in school right now and would like to write a simulation for the universe using my mathematical model. I know it isn't easy to do, and it would need much processing power. This is why I would like to use this Bionic program to run the simulation. I was also wandering what code these programs are written in, looks like C++ to me. If anyone can help me in any way please let me know, thanks.

New Theory... need help
)
If you are looking for a example of a program that models of the evalution of the universe I would recommend cmbfast.
The boinc home page has a detailed discription of what is involved in setting up a bionc project.
Ok thanks, I'll go over those
)
Ok thanks, I'll go over those descriptions. My first model is going to be very simple, just do demonstrate what the theory does and how the mathematical model works with come constant varibles. I would post the idea but I don't want it stolen Newton's style, if you know what I mean. I can probably run this model on a normal pc, but once I write the full program, I hope I can involve the begginning of the universe and account for as many particles I can.
I'll also check that program cmbfast. Thanks for the info.
