Oh, I made and set up a validator. I'll also review its decisions on Monday. Don't take "inconclusive"s or "invalid"s as final yet ("valid"s you might, though).

I have 4 valid tasks so far but each task got a different amount of credits, are they using 'credit new' for now and later on will get a fixed amount of credits like the other tasks here?

I was thinking the VRAM requirement was a bit steep, so that explains it. I was just curious about it, that's all. Thanks for the info.

Doesn't work on older cards with less VRAM like my AMD Radeon R9 280X anyway.  Cards which can run gravity have 4GB+, so not a problem.

If this page takes an hour to load, reduce posts per page to 20 in your settings, then the tinpot 486 Einstein uses can handle it.

Just one of my machines is producing nothing but errors.  Here is an example:

seems to be an issue with the Windows application (at least the Nvidia one). That’s the same error that Boca Raton HS had on his system.

the Linux Nvidia application was working fine for me yesterday.

Oddly enough, my other two windows machines with the same version of the OS, same drivers, same GPUs, tasks are running fine.  It is just this one machine with the errors.

That error seems to be somewhat few and far between for me after that first work unit. I have only had three of those errors after running this many of these tasks:

In progress (861)
Pending (1757)
Valid (275)

I had a big chuck of them that Timed Out though.

I also had 1 host that was throwing errors.

If you happen to be using a card with less than 4 GBs memory the program runs out of memory within 30 seconds.

I had to pull out a GTX 1060 3GB and stick my GTX  1650 4GB - as the second card with my GTX 2070.

Somewhat slower but more efficient at power usage.

I, too, had received plenty

I, too, had received plenty of errors on my 5950X host, but none on my 3950X host.  And both are running Linux.  I'll be out of the penalty box in ~5 hr, and we'll see what happens then.

I don't know what I did, if anything, to have caused this.  It apparently happened during the night when I wasn't paying attention.  Could it have happened when I was watching an Amazon Prime Video on my 5950X host?  Would the usage of the sole video card have caused this to happen?
