Very nice. But what about a Win64 Version of Einstein@home?
There could be a performancce boost to, if the app a little similarly to the prime/gimp app. At time I don't own such a 64Bit capable machine, but there are a lot of people who have these machines. Perhaps this could be a decision making aid for people to switch to WinXP x64.

Apparently the search finished successfully, but the uploaded result file wasn't compressed (as it should be) and the file looks truncated. The file, however, is much longer than it should be (for a short WU).
The other results this machine has returned, even from the same charge of WUs (h1_0324.5_S5R1) look ok and are valid so far. Any idea what has gone wrong? Did you temporary ran short on disk space?
[Now I can get some work done here in XP as well as in Linux (Dual-boot)

Here are benchmarks from each side of this box:
**Windows XP Service Pack 2 with BOINC 5.5.10 - binary files
1329 floating point MIPS (Whetstone) per CPU
2672 integer MIPS (Dhrystone) per CPU
**Gentoo Linux 2.6.17-r4 with BOINC 5.5.6 - BOINC & deps compiled into system - not binary
875 floating point MIPS (Whetstone) per CPU
2530 integer MIPS (Dhrystone) per CPU
Just for the record, using the standard Windows Einstein the WU takes 48,910.25 and has validated, while the 4.17 in Linux takes 28,112.33. I'm going to boot back into WIndows now and complete that WU with the optimised Einstein and will update, but by the looks of things, times are likely to be on par with what I stated earlier.

Just a small comment - my guesstimation is from time so far and percentage done - not the BOINC guesstimation, which is way out thus far as I only recently restarted BOINC / Einstein in Windows

Yes, I did finish the only unit I had, it was uploaded allright, and then I reported it. I shut down BOINC, extracted the files. The executable, the pdb file and the app_info are all in the einstein folder.
No such message about anonymous platform.

Just installed 4.24, but when I look in the boinc manager, the version that's listed as running is 4.02. Is this normal?

No. Did you finish your WU's in cache first? Did you exit BOINC and restart it? Is "Found app_info.xml; using anonymous platform" in your messages?
