How Will Any Future Announcement Be Made?

Assuming this project will have some discovery news within the next few years (or less?), how will the Project make an announcement to the co-collaborators (in other words to us, the data crunchers)?

Assuming it is to be a press announcement, some advance notice of the press announcement date would be nice.

If results are to be published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal, an announcement of the journal name and date of publication would be nice.

For all scenerios, once a public announcement is made, a detailed summary and/or links to all of the published details would be appreciated.
