Schools back in session. I only processed one data set all summer because I was home and I only have access to dial-up there. I finished a data set Saturday and it was uploaded today, I think. Before I could intervene the BOINC Manager disconnected from the server and I could not request more work. When I tried to request more work manually I was told to go to file/select computer and select a host name. I can't find any of the original registration names and numbers that I started with back in September/October of 2005. How does one get reconnected back onto Einstein@Home? I am a high school teacher trying to keep involved with this wonderful project. I am a member of AAPT and did recieve a special number via email last year (but I can't find that number now). Should I request a new number again? Thanks to any one for your help.

Steve,

Not sure I understand the above - but, your "Results for computer" shows that you have a WU "In Progress". So, you may be OK. If not, post a copy your "Messages" here (exit/restart BOINC first).

EDIT: With regard to your registration info, that should not be a problem. Obviously, your computer can sign in to your account (since you were able to post a message). Just go to "Your account" on the E@H home page and "Change" (enter) a password. After that, you won't need the original registration info anymore. If you ever need to sign in again, you will only need your e-mail address and password.

Steve, Looks like your

Steve,

Looks like your most recent results are failing with client errors. Error codes like you are getting usually indicate one of the these possible problems: 1/ an "out of date" graphics card driver (see this thread); 2/ you need to update your version of DirectX; or, 3/ your computer may be having memory probems (check with memtest). If the above doesn't help, post back here and describe in a little more detail what happened when you first started to have problems.
