Yesterday I instaled new version of BOINC (5.2.13). Since then I experience same error every time E@H reach about 79.5%. About 20-30 boxes with error message pop-out. In each box it is the same message: "BOINC client failed to disconect from netwrok". Is this known error? Should I return to older version of BOINC (never experience this kind of error with it, or any other error)? Why it tries to disconect from netwrok when I have a cable connection and my computer is 24/7 connected to the Net?

Thanks for any help.

"Failed to disconect from network" error

Actual error message is "BOINC failed to disconnected from the internet". And it happened again at about 94% and at 98%.

You can try this to see if it

You can try this to see if it helps:
Go to your account page and in General Preferences check "Network usage".
Even if "Confirm before connecting to Internet?" and "Disconnect when done?" are set properly go ahead and edit and update.
Open BOINC Manager on your host and in the account tab, highlight Einstein and update.

Hope this helps you. :-)

Go into BOINC manager, click

Go into BOINC manager, click Options, click the Connections tab, and set to use LAN, this will stop those messages.

Thanks! I reinstalled 5.2.7.

Thanks! I reinstalled 5.2.7. version. Messages pop-out every minute. I'll see if it work OK with this version. But I will also do what both of you suggested. Thanks for help.

I just find out that I have

I just find out that I have "yes" for "Disconnect when done?" for home preferences. I'm not sure how it turns to "yes", but at least now I know the reason of this strange behavior. ;-)
