I'm running Einstein as a backup project on two of my ARM devices and I've noticed this error. Seems it has to do with runtime being considerably longer than CPU time and the server automatically pulling the plug on it after a while? My devices have this thing where BOINC tasks are automatically dealt with in a sort of low priority mode (I don't know the specifics), so runtime/CPU time is always <25%. I don't really mind this, since it helps a lot with heat and battery temperatures and deadlines are met in time anyway (on WCG at least).
My question is if there is anything I can do about this particular error and what the rationale behind it is. I mean, even with the slowdown, looks like I could easily turn in the tasks before the deadline. What's the point of this safeguard if the task is going to meet the established deadline regardless?
Here's one such task: https://einsteinathome.org/task/865264041
Thanks.

I had this error code once, but it was for a gpu where the estimated task completion time was calculated to be 0:00, and after running for a few seconds, that time limit exceeded so Boinc exited the task. I don’t think that is the same thing you have here, though
