    hello hope some one can help the new guy?

    i'm running einstein,seti, predictor and climate predicition on BOINC but today i've been getting the following error messages

    Einstein@Home - 2005-03-02 15:39:33 - Couldn't read master page for Einstein@Home: error -113
    Einstein@Home - 2005-03-02 15:39:33 - Master file fetch failed
    Einstein@Home - 2005-03-02 15:39:33 - Deferring communication with project for 19 hours, 39 minutes, and 59 seconds

    i've got this same message with einstein, seti and predictor, each has a file waiting to transfer. I checked the server status pages and I know the SETI server is down, can anyone tell me whats happening?

      Since you have it with 3 of your 4 current projects, I would check the internet connection first. Is it on and can boinc connect to it? Have you tried exiting BOINC and restarting it? Do you need a proxy to connect to the internet?

        hi, i tried restarted boinc just now and got the following

        ProteinPredictorAtHome - 2005-03-02 16:07:44 - Deferring communication with project for 18 hours, 59 minutes, and 22 seconds
        SETI@home - 2005-03-02 16:07:44 - Deferring communication with project for 3 hours, 4 minutes, and 12 seconds

        i don't have problems connecting to the internet in general and i use a proxy to connect, i've checked the setting but i think that they are correct, but i'll make sure.

          Be patient. Sometimes the schedulers do not answer for few minutes.
          All should be ok soon.

            You can go to the tab "Projects" and with right mouse click on E@H use the "Update" function. Afterwards going to the tab "Messages" you can see if you had connection or not.
