There are people working on both. AFAIK CUDA is somewhat further, maybe we get something working in March there.
Well, whatever they do, make sure they won't be releasing it through the anonymous platform mechanism, as we just learned that the upcoming BOINC 6.6 will not recognize the co-processor through the app_info.xml file. That shock-wave is still rumbling on...

That's all right, Jord, they don't use anonymous platform here.

Except for Beta testing, of course......
Yes, well, that's what I tried to flag. If the app comes out here, do not use the anonymous platform for it, or tell just everyone not to use BOINC 6.6
There has been a back-off of the issue by Dr. Anderson. The claim is that only server side changes are needed ... check is in the mail and I will respect you in the morning ... YMMV

Well 6.6.15 seems okay so far. I'm glad Jord didn't tell me not to use 6.6.x versions (not that it would have made any difference). Heck even got Seti cuda app running alongside the cpu app after the server changes, now that is progress :-)
Of course it may still have issues with work fetch and the guys with large numbers of tasks are reporting BOINC using a lot of cpu. I still expect they will release it fairly soon.
Besides I have a new machine in the works with dual GTX260's to go in it, and it will be hungry when it comes home...

@ Bernd,
Don't worry, we're still able (and I'm still available if needed) to do private testing, as I suggested via Gary at the beginning of February.
BOINC v6.4.5 supports both CUDA and app_info.xml: I'll do some testing with v6.4.7 while you finish off the app, but it should be the same.
