hi,
i just joined einstein@home and i have on 2 machines the same issue.
downloading WUs seems to be ok in the log but in the tasklist it says "failed to download".
i'm running boinc on a raspi 4b 2gb
here is the log:

again: even the log says the download is finished it is listed as failed in the tasklist. there is enough free space on the drive.
any idea where the issue could be?

You say you have enough free

You say you have enough free space on the drive, but do you have enough allocated to BOINC in the BOINC manager itself or the project?
Also, you may have a bad connection and the downloads are corrupted causing the failures.
it's a checksum error.

it's a checksum error. nothing to do with free space.

Welcome to the project! Thanks for participating.
Please understand that each task depends on two separate files. The data for each task is contained in a unique file with a .bin4 extension. In addition to data, each task requires the contents of a global file called stochastic_full.bank. Everybody has to receive exactly the same contents for that file so a MD5 checksum is computed by the project and sent as well so that each recipient can check that the contents are correct.
As is shown in your log, the contents are somehow different from what was sent. The checksum has changed and you need to work out why that is happening for your setup. If it's happening on two separate machines, it's unlikely to be a hardware issue that would be specific to one machine. Perhaps it's something to do with your internet connection. Unfortunately, you (or someone with direct access) will need to sort that out.
Cheers,
Gary.
There has been a further

There has been a further report of checksum errors for the same stochastic_full.bank file. There is also a link to a similar problem back in 2017. I've reported the details to project staff.
Hopefully there will be a fix for this very shortly.
EDIT: The problem is now being dealt with by the staff. You can read a response from Bernd in the thread I've linked above.
Cheers,
Gary.
thx! it's working fine now
