      If you read your message above you will see that you can only download 8 WU's a day. The WU have a deadline of 1 week. If you were to download more you may not get them done before the deadline.

        Does the 'work' tab show that your machine has 8 workunits that it is doing? If so, all is well.

              This looks like a case where the scheduler reply never reached your machine. Do you use a proxy server to connect to the internet?

                No, and its dial up anyway with a disconnect after 1 hour so I may abandon the whole thing until I get broadband.

                  OK. It should work very well over a broadband connection.
