Cannot create account / set initial password

I did find this post which is the exact problem I am having, however, no solution was presented there: https://einsteinathome.org/content/cant-establish-new-account
I am trying to create a new account. The account was created and I am directed to change my password from the one time login email. On the screen to change the password, it wants the current password to make the change. Where do I get a current password when I am setting my initial password?

When you created your account it should have asked you the password type in in twice, I believe one time password comes when you want to change your password from whatever you used to set up the new account
If not then go into Boinc Manager on a pc that doesn't have Einstein on it and attach to it, it will ask if you are a new or existing user and you can set up your new account and passwords there. I believe that's the default when you sign up for any project you are not currently attached too, the new user part I mean.
