why is the cache size reorted wrong on some of my machines, for exampel my P4 3,6 has 2048k cache but if i look at my computers in my account it says 976.56 KB ?

Sorry if i am wrong i don't know what nanometer your processor is, but i looked it up on intel's website (click on view specification chart) and there is 65 inch nanometer and a 90 in 3.6Ghz P4. The 65 does have a 2MB cache, but the 90 inch has a 1MB. So i am guessing that you must have the 90 nanometer.

Ok sorry, Richard M must be right. That is weird why boinc reports everything as 1MB of cache.
