Oh well, there's no 'good' signal there then. Now we know that. It's a low frequency and low dispersion modulus ( note DM in lower right ) signal, probably of terrestrial origin ( maybe Mr Sixty Hertz or Mrs Fifty Hertz from a power line say ). That's the science outcome then : no pulsar found in this part of the parameter space.
The work unit calculates a Fourier transform and based on that the power spectrum on the upper right of the graphics screen is visualised. One can't know that before the analysis is done.
We have to winnow a lot of chaff out of the mix at E@H, it's what we do. Our raison d'etre.
