    Concerning the Flag:

    I would like to make flying flags like that for the missionary page of our churches website

    I have GIMP 2.2.1 (for windows)
    It does GIF files but I don't know how to animate them

    I have two dimentional flag pictures. is there a script-fu available to animate them?

    If you didn't make it could you direct me to who did make it?

      ok.. the menu's you want are
      script fu, animators, rippling.

      To view, you use
      filters animation, playback and click on play button.

      The trick is the saving as .GIF part.
      You'll need .gif support for that.

        I know exactly where to look
        If you hadn't directed me there I would have been months before I would have found it ((plus one on your rating))

        now here's hoping I have (or can find) the gif animation plugin for windows
        I know I can save gif pix so maybe it's the same plugin?:)

        If not, I'll explore the plugin sites (it gives me an excuse to look, I've been curious but alas I've been busy too)

          If you can save gif, then you have the gif plugin.

          the trick is to click the 'animated' button for the animated gifs in the save dialog.

            WOW!

            I was talking to a fellow scientist friend of mine tonight about google searches and I just decided to do one and I found this first thing!

            But I never noticed it back in 2005.

            Yeah I remember that version of the flag!

            I imagine by now you all figured out how to html,bbcode,jpg,and gif

            (sorry if this bugs any of you)
