I dont't know enough about the Android Client but I would suspect that running BOINC and PtG on the same device at the same time is not good and ideally should not be done.
Furthermore you can only set the preferences on the phone not via the web preferences like on the PC. In your particular case you need to allow more RAM usage in order to get BRP4 work.
