Hello,

Some members of our team have access to AIX-based servers. These machines can crunch quite a lot, but clients for this OS don't seem to exist.

They used to http://www.lb.shuttle.de/apastron/boincDown.shtml#aix
but they don't anymore due to the switch to boinc 5.x

If anyone can help, you are welcome.
If E@H dev team could release something, it would be greatly appreciated.

Last, if anyone knows about AIX based clients for any Boinc project, please let us know

Thanks

Are these pSeries machines? Could you create a Linux partition and run BOINC there?

This is one of the machines : http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/show_host_detail.php?hostid=2135532

As these machines are servers, it is not possible to create other partitions

Hello,

As I said to Black Hole Sun, these clients won't work with my servers. My systems are running under Aix 5.2 & 5.3 and I don't have free partitions to run linux or windows clients.

As these servers are in production, I cannot install a suitable development environment to build Boinc client :/

Thanks for your time everybody, I'll wait Stefan's build.
