2 computers - same CPU time, different CPU's

Hello, i have 2 computers, 1 with unlocked 3.6Ghz Phenom II 960T to hexa 1600T, and a work VM with 2 assigned cores of a 2.2Ghz E5-2660v2 (Sandy-EP).
The Phenom has 2x4GB 1600 with XMP timings and CPU-NB OC'ed to 2.8Ghz.
I am running on both CPU tasks - FGRPSSE Beta 1.05, yet it takes around the same to complete them. Why is that? What CPU resources do the FGRPSSE use? Integer cores, FP cores, does it benefit from RAM speed/timings HyperTransport speeds, NB Speeds, instruction sets?
