Yup! That's me!My Name is Glenn and I live in the Los Angeles, California area.I have always dreamt about the stars and what is out there.I think that it is great to be a part of this distinguished distributed computing project. Those of us who participate in this collective of computing power are volunteers that, I think, may someday change the way that we, our planet, thinks about our universe and our tiny corner of it.You may not know this, but I got very ill recently and while I was in the hospital, I made a bucket List of things that I would like to do before my time here runs out. The pursuit of Astronomy as a past time was on that list.I am pleased that I have this time to spend with others who are interested in this shared dream of ours.I can only think that what we accomplish here in this environment of distributed computing can only make our species better. As a citizen of the planet earth, I think that We, humanity, Can be better thanks to the few who have stepped forward to pursue this ideal. Thanks Einstein@home contributors.Together an old beat-up guy like me has hope for the future. We can be better! The dream is there, We just have to reach out for it!
I hope that, one day that we can develop a client for my commodore 64!
I run Einstein@home because it contributes to the scientific community and our knowledge base.As more and more of us join this community, more and more discoveries will follow
My view about this project is that we help our people understand our cosmos and our tiny corner of it.
My suggestion is that we create clients for cellphones to run in the background. With multicore processors available on cellphone platforms, this is a feasible suggestion. Can we create a client for the xbox and for my commodore 64 and vic 20?
The Earth is a giant interferometer,Let's hack it into it and make it work for us!
txt me yo..
So call me,maybe?
