I used to do research for a large regulated monopoly. Later, I retired and was on the board of a community service organization.

I have done a lot of computer programming, including writing a compiler and an operating system for what was then a large minicomputer used for moving image studies. I also did some work requiring a secret security clearance. I prefer to remain vague about a lot of this.
