Hi, I'm user Burned at Ars Technica. Been crunching (errr. doing "citizen science") since SETI I. I'm an IT professional working with enterprise class servers and a home computer enthusiast. I enjoy road cycling, mountain biking, and the great outdoors.
Opinion
My home project is Folding@Home, but I like to dip a toe elsewhere from time to time. I heard Einstein is very AMD friendly, so here I am with my brand spanking new 6900XT. I've also got an older NVIDIA 2060 Super to bring to bear. I've always been interested in astronomy ever since I was a little kid at the planetarium.
