I am on the Old Weather team. We transcribe weather data from ship's logbooks to help climate scientists. Visit us at http://www.oldweather.org/.

Learn about history and everyday life on board ship!
We started with Royal Navy log books from the World War I period.
We are now doing U.S. Navy and Coast Guard log books from the 1800's to WWII.
In the future we hope to have logs from whaling ships.
