Computer user since the mid 1970's. Have owned computers since 1980. My first computer was a Heathkit H89/90. Built many of these units in 1980-1981 on weekends in the basement of a friend. Worked on almost everything from TRS-80 Model 1 - 4, Apple, Mac, Timex Sinclair, Pet, Vic 20, C64, etc. Currently I have several computers from Celeron 500, P-III, P4, P4 Xeon, and P4 HT.
I am a computer professional. I have worked as a General Office/Computer Operator, an Office Manager (which took an office that was all paper and moved it to a 3 computer network, with billing, inventory, shipping, accounts recievable, accounts payable, and payroll), Consultant, and Systems and Network Administration.
I have been married over 20 years, with 2 children (son and daughter), and currently 1 granddaughter. I have always lived in Milwaukee.
I am a Comedy music lover. I have listened to Dr. Demento since the mid 1970's. I have a music collection of over 1200 CDs, where 85-90% have something to do with comedy. Some of my favorites are Allan Sherman, Tom Lehrer, The great Lukeski, Throwing Toasters, Tony Goldmark, Power Salad, Worm Quartet, Devo Spice, Tom Smith, The FUnny Music Project Shel Silverstein, and many others.
When I learned that my home town school was working on this project, I was excited. I am glad to know Milwaukee is doing it's part in science. I am proud to be apart of this project, and hope we learn a lot more about the universes out there.
