Message 22439 - Posted 4 Dec 2005 2:26:18 UTC

I up-dated Norton antivirus and in the process Boinc Manager lost all info about my E@H work. When I try to re-attach to project, Boinc asks for HTTP server, port, username and password. I know my usename and password, but what is the server? Firefox attaches directly to the internet. How do I find my server and port?

    Thanks

BOINC had a minor bug in it that was causing it to erroneously ask for proxy info. That bug has supposedly been fixed. Just download the newest version of BOINC and try again.

Thanks. I upgraded from Boinc x.y.2 to x.y.13 and found it right back where it was before: in the middle of a work unit, happily crunching away.
